100 Smutfic Recs: "L'Estasi di Santa Homura" and "Not Unexpected"
Today we'll be looking at two fics in the Madoka fandom, both of which are Madoka/Homura. L'Estasi di Santa Homura by SailorPtah and Not Unexpected by Cyn. (Not that Cyn.)
The first of these has major spoilers for the ending, but Not Unexpected should be safe.
L'Estasi di Santa Homura is post-series, first of all, and thus follows insubstantial dreamsex. With ribbons and the end of Madoka's arrow. The whole environment is set up to be hot, red roses, strawberries, stray uniforms, all kinds of things that encourage the dreamy part of the fic while the very real action is going on, even if it's sans a physical presence. And the ending is fantastic.
SailorPtah is very, very good at this. I highly recommend the other fics they've written in this fandom for insubstantial or celestial or any kind of sex you would like.
Not Unexpected is a fluffy piece that I only put into the smutfic category because the author marked it M, and I bow to the author's perception of the piece. Madoka and Homura move in together. There is talk of curtains, pigtails, and honorifics. The whole piece is adorable.
It's one of those fics that comes together as a whole. A really, really cute whole that, while it doesn't have the previous fic's pure sexuality, has the happiness and love of the relationship down pat.
