100 Smutfic Recs: "Come This Nadir Breaks" and "duong jai"
Today we'll be looking at two Yggdra Union Gulcasa/Nessiah fics. Come This Nadir Breaks by Rebbe and duong jai by Feral Phoenix. They are on the opposite ends of the plot versus fluff spectrum, but both great works.
Come This Nadir Breaks follows Nessiah from pre-canon to the end of A route Blaze Union, and deals largely with his growing attachment to Gulcasa. All 6,000 words of it are gorgeous, excellently crafted words and phrases put in exactly the right place. It's masterfully done.
I almost feel a little bad reccing it here because there's not much in the way of sex, but I don't want to rec the same person twice in the same entry, and aside from Feral very few people write Dept. Heaven smut.
Hint hint.
Mmm, plotless smut and fluff. Feral can do amazing plot and smut and weave the two of them together perfectly, but in terms of 5,000 words of I-love-you-sex and relationship dynamics and wonderful things, duong jai is perfect.
Though you should really read everything she writes. Just saying.
